I have up for auction with no reserve,a lovely clean vintage Westminster Chime mantle clock Made In Germany in the Black Forest.A really nice example,aquired from a house clearance,and seems to be working well and chiming as it should although comes with no guarantee and will need minor adjustment after postage (beat and chime set etc).In a lovely big size with it's nice brass door with convex glass,silvered dial with good bright Arabic numerals,good original matching plain original hands and a lovely oak case with ornate front,with fantastic barley twist pillars/columns,with a good aged patina to the wood,the beautiful soft Westminster Chime is a real pleasure.The movement is top quality stamped GERMANY and with patent numbers and the makers logo a half moon/cresent with a capital B on it,a really top quality German movement!The clock measures approx 13 1/2" inches wide by approx 12" inches high and is approx 6 1/4" inches in depth so a lovely all round size in very very good condition although will show some signs of age and comes complete with key.Please be aware that although I do try to describe my listings both accurately and honestly,all of my items are genuine old Antique/Vintage items approx 50/150 years old so they will show some signs of age/wear/use,they are not guaranteed.Please study the provided photo's carefully,(a picture is worth a thousand words)if still unsure please ask plenty of questions.THEN BID ACCORDINGLY!
