This is a very charming, simple line old phone shelf that makes a beautiful shadow box like display.  This originally was inset into a wall to hold the old style phone and phone books back in the 40's.  Since we now use cell phones and online phone directories we can find new darling uses for it.  Perfect to highlight a statue, figurines, photos, a small potted plant, etc. or to hang hand towels from.  I LOVE this in a romantic shabby french country cottage!
 
It is in very good condition for its considerable old age.  A few minor dings & nail holes here & there and a small sliver of missing wood along the top edge.  It is made of wood ~ and has old dove grey paint with natural distresses in the paint.  
 
SIZE:  18" tall x 16-1/2" wide and 7" deept at the bottom. The part that goes inside the wall is just a hair under 4".   
 
SHIPPING:  $25, by FedEx Ground ~ insurance and first quality packing materials included ~ delivered to your home.  We individually build custom corrugated crates for each item to ensure perfect safe arrival.  All associated packing costs are included in the shipping cost.
