OLD STANLEY INSULATING COMPANY 10 OZ. HOT BEVERAGE JUG




This listing is for a wonderful old Stanley Insulating Company Hotel Ware 10 ounce beverage jug or server. Can be used as a syrup. Not sure of its exact age, but it was made between 1915 and 1933. Bottom is marked STANLEY INSULATING CO. GREAT BARRINGTON, MASS. U.S.A. That plant was closed in 1933. I believe its polished pewter, or silverplate on pewter. It's heavy, weighing just under 2 pounds. The porcelian coated vacume bottle looks to be undamaged. This was a big selling piece for Stanley. It was very popular with both the Hotel/ Motel and Railroad industries during the 1920's and 30's. This is the only one I've ever seen that didn't have a name inscribed on it somewhere. Still has lots of luster!
