An old Sheffield plate gallery tray with bun feet
24 x 16 x 2 1/4 inches high
large size!
The plating on the inside near the edges has copper showing through in several areas, this would probably not show when it had decanters or the like on it.
I am selling this as I'm sick of polishing it, have had it for quite a while. It is definitely OLD Sheff., and unmarked except for a single M on the rim of the back. It still needs a very good polish, I have done the center part and kind of done the gallery. The underside is nearly black and I have not polished it.

I need to hear from you within 3 days of receipt of item
and have clear evidence that there is a genuine mistake or damage not shown in the photos or stated in the description.
PHOTOS: note: photos are automatically removed from my listing within a week. To be sure you have copies, right click on the photo after winning the item and save it on your computer. I can always send copies by email to you later, but this is a convenient way for you to save the images.
An occasional error or omission in description may happen, though it is extremely rare. If it is my GENUINE error, I will give a complete refund.
Otherwise, No warranty is stated or implied.
This policy is so detailed because I have had several bidders who have deliberately abused my return policy. If you read about various things that happen on Ebay you will understand this.
In summary:
If-- the item is as I represented it but you just don't like it, you are welcome to return it for a refund -- less my Ebay seller fees and the shipping cost.
Item MUST be returned in the same packing and be shipped back within 7 days of receipt of the item.
Item must be in the same condition, and be the same item. I keep photos of the item and also if it is a common item have marked or identified it so it cannot be switched.
