Attractive knockdown wardrobe

This is a lovely art deco knockdown wardrobe, it breaksdown into nine pieces to allow ease of transport and access to awkwardly placed bedrooms.

Re-assembly is a doddle.

Solid pine throughout with nice sturdy dovetailed joints, the base has a free running solid pine dovetailed drawer.

As well as having a hanging rail, there are nine wooden pegs which run along the back of the robe, these are great for hanging coats, jackets, bags, belts, ties etc.

The top is nicely shaped with carved detail to either corner, there is also delicate detail to the front, either side of the doors (please see pics).

The metal escutcheons/handles are original, the lock and key are new replacements.

A pretty piece which has been stripped, restored, waxed and polished, and is now ready for your home.

As with almost all genuine antique pine items, there may be signs of old woodworm activity, this however will have been treated as a precaution.
