BRISLINGTON 1902 SHEET 76.06 This map is taken from the 1/2500 plans and reprinted at about 14 inches to the mile, it is highly detailed and covers an area of about one and a half square miles, and shows individual houses, railway tracks, factories, churches, mills, signal posts, pathways, sheds, wells, etc. It also includes historical notes of the area. Map Details This detailed map covers most of the village of Brislington, to the SE of Bristol. Coverage stretches from Montrose Avenue and Bristol Hill eastward to the River Avon and The Batch. Features include tramway, Brislington House, Winash House, Emery's Farm, Doncaster Farm, Hicks Gate Farm, Flowers Hill Farm, Brislington Hall, Oakenhill Farm, St Luke's church, Assembly Rooms, Brislington Hill House, short stretch of GWR railway etc. On the reverse are directories of Brislington and Hanham in 1894.
