THIS PEWTER TANKARD IS UNUSUAL, I HAVE NOT SEEN ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT. DECORATED WITH HAND ENGRAVED FLOWERS, THE FLORAL DECORATION HAS BEEN ENHANCED WITH SMALL RAISED BUMPS CREATED BY AN IMPACT ON THE INSIDE OF THE TANKARD.

THE LIP OF THE TANKARD IS ROLLED. THE HANDLE IS VERY ORNATE.

I HAVE HAD THIS TANKARD FOR 50 YEARS AND IT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY AN UNCLE WHO WAS 80 AT THE TIME SO I HAVE NO IDEA HOW OLD IT IS BUT IT IS VERY OLD. IT IS IN FAIR CONDITION WITH SOME SLIGHT SCUFFING IN ONE SECTION (SEE PHOTO).

IT IS 15 CM (6") HIGH AT THE TOP OF THE HANDLE, THE BODY OF THE TANKARD IS 10 CM (4") DIAMETER.
