OCEAN LIFE 1000 Freshwater
Includes: 84"L x 24"H x 24"W Tank 60"L x 15"H x 18"W Sump Cabinet and Hood (open top) in finish of your choice. Approx volume 1000 Litres.
THE TANK A high quality 84"x24"x24" aquarium tank that will give years of viewing pleasure.
Our tanks and sumps are manufactured in the UK and come with a 12 month guarantee. They are constructed using aqua high modulus reactive curing silicon sealant, which conforms to the performance requirement of BS 5889, type B. The tank comes complete with 2 rear corner weirs. These weirs have 3 holes drilled in the base in which will fit 1 x 25mm tank connector (inlet from sump) and 2 x 40mm tank connectors (outlets to sump). This gives great versatility with a total of 2 inlets to the tank and 4 outlets. Cover glasses supplied to cut down on evaporation. You can choose from either clear or black silicon and either a blue or black background which is bonded to the rear pane of the tank (not in the photo). Polystyrene tank base supplied.
THE SUMP The sump measures 60"x15"x18" with 4 sections: 1. Inlet from tank complete with sponge prefilter. 2. Filter section containing sponges, brushes and bio balls 3. Equipment section for addition of Co2 and liquid additives. 4. Outlet section. THE CABINET AND HOOD
Our beautifully crafted wooden cabinet and hood is manufactured from 18mm MFC and not 15mm which other manufacturers may use. In a finish of your choice. The photo shows 'Knotty Oak' finish which is the 1st on the left below.
Our cabinets have full solid backs with access holes for wiring and pipes.
The hood is open top and suitable for use with metal halide lighting or a T5 luminaire. We can also supply a closed hood with full hinged lid. (please contact me for a price)
