I bought this stove a few years ago with the intention of restoring it for our house but ended up buying another, bigger stove. There are cast brass badges on the front and both sides reading 'OAK FIRE - ENGLAND' within the outline of an oak leaf, which I'm guessing is the manufacturer
It's a slightly unusual design of stove with the door on the side meaning that large logs, up to 40cm in length, can be fitted in even though the stove itself is quite small. But this does mean you need sufficient space to open the door, which is one reason why I ended up buying a different stove.
It is 48cm wide, 51 cm high and 30 cm deep, not including the flue connector and adjustable damper which bolts on the back. It's blue with brass handles and badges. It has plenty of chips and cracks in the glaze, some rust and damage but it doesn't leak and still looks good with a bit of elbow grease - 'rustic charm' would be a polite way of describing it. Some repairs have already been carried out but it still needs a new glass and a bit of work. There's some new rope seal for around the door and a tub of fire cement that you can have for sealing the flue and glass.
It's extremely heavy, as you'd expect, so you'll need to collect it but we are only a couple of miles from where the M40 meets the M42 so pretty easy to reach from just about anywhere.
