Endangered Breed Drum Carded Wool Batts, Natural Light Grey/Cream, for felting and hand dyeing, 85g (3oz)

I have drum carded these 2 gorgeous wool batts from a very soft handsorted and handwashed North Ronaldsay shearling fleece (= 1st clip). The North Ronaldsay sheep is an endangered breed from the Orkney Isles, and this lot is very soft and squishy with an average micount count of 24-30 micron. The average fibre length is 5-10cm (2-4 inch), which makes these batts perfect for dry/needle felting, wet felting and hand dyeing.There is a small amount of vegetable matter left in the batts.

 

The price stands for 2 hand carded wool batts, weighing 85g (3oz) together.
