Published by The Collector's Book Club by special arrangement with Allan Wingate (London) in 1949. A deluxe limited edition of only 240 copies published simultaneously with the trade first edition. This copy is numbered 121.

Original red leather boards stamped in gilt to front and spine. Page edges red. Marbled endpapers. Integral silk bookmark. 721 pages.

Boards are in very good plus condition. Clean with bright gilt. Some mild rubbing to edges. binding is tight and square.

Internally the pages are very clean and in excellent condition throughout. No inscriptions, marks or blemishes. End of bookmark slightly frayed.

A very nice copy of this deluxe limited edition.

All books are bagged, carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap and then packaged in a cardboard book box.

All books under £200 will be sent by first class recorded delivery within 48 hours of receipt of payment.

Books at £200 and over will be sent within 48 hours by special delivery with insurance to the full value of the book. There will not be any additional charge for this service, above the stated postage costs.

All books under £200 will be sent by Royal Mail airmail within 48 hours of receipt of payment.

Books at £200 and over will be sent within 48 hours by Royal Mail 'Airsure'  (or 'International Signed For' where 'Airsure' is not available) with insurance to the full value of the book. Once the book has been mailed I will Email you notification together with a reference number which will enable you to track or trace your delivery online. There will not be any additional charge for this service above the stated shipping costs.

Combined postage

I will combine postage/shipping costs. Where more than one item is purchased please request an invoice when you have finished buying. I will send an amended invoice reflecting the reduced postage/shipping costs.
