Nikon SB-26 fit Softbox 60cm x 60cm, fit's others.

Harness the power of your Nikon SB-26 flashgun  and  similar  Shoe Flash Guns for use as studio flash lighting with our kit,  which includes  a 60 x 60 softbox, and swivel + adaptor.

Note: this is NOT a genuine Nikon made  item, it is an independently made softbox which takes the Nikon flashgun.

Our softbox also takes the SB 24 and the SB23, it will take other models but they must have a lockable accessory shoe foot to fit securely.

This softbox can take other shoe flashguns, please ask.

We provide:

1 x softbox 60 x 60, with inner diffuser panel, so you end up with two layers of diffusion material, the inner diffusion panel can be removed if you so desire.

1 X swivel bracket + adaptor.

The swivel bracket fits on to normal lighting stands with 16mm diameter spigot tops.

This assembly can be hand held via the swivel bracket, for total portability.

With the flashgun used in this way, firing into a softbox, any sensors on the front of the flashgun will not work and it is your responsibility to make the flashgun operate with your camera in this mode, ie you may have to resort to manual flash operation or some other method of operation.

Light stand is not included in this auction.

The flash gun you use with this kit must have an accessory shoe which has a locking ring or some kind of clamp lock which will tighten up on the accessory shoe.

  The very small, push-on accessory shoe flash guns are not suitable for this softbox.

Lots of modern day flash guns are quite high powered and although they are not exactly the same animal  as a full blown studio flash head, they can do a very good job and  offer certain advantages, such as being battery powered, offer a wide range of manual power adjustment and operate on low voltage DC supply, and generally are more robust.
