This is a little-used Nikon 300mm f/4 AF ED telephoto lens in superb condition. This lens has excellent optics and there are no scratches on the glass. Aperture blades are clean and snappy. There is a built in hood which is very convenient, and an adjustable tripod collar. This lens has a very solid build...almost all metal. I have owned this lens from new, but since going digital I find I rarely use it (it equates to a 450mm lens on the DX format) and it probably hasn't been out of its case for over a year. The original body cap, soft lens cap, leatherette lens case (CL-42) and box are all included as is a Nikon 39mm L37C filter in the filter holder. Also included is the (unused) spare filter holder needed for self-made coloured gels etc. I REALLY look after my camera gear and if you are looking for a top quality, solid, compact, and sharp telephoto lens, this is it! Great for Nikon film or digital SLR cameras. Made in Japan
