Tokai Les Paul

Made in Korea in the eighties

Mahogany body and set mahogany neck

Rosewood board with 22 new frets.

Based on a Les Paul Custom

This has at some point in its life either had the fretboard replaced or the neck binding, dont know which but there is clear evidence of some work, could even be where its been refretted, ive just had the frets stoned and the ends redone so its nice now.

There is also a laquer crack at the base of the neck and the neck finish is matt as if someone has scotch brited it.

 

Other than that its a nice Les Paul, its sounds great and the pups are better than the current Tokai and Epiphone gear.

All in all a decent alternative to the common Epiphones.
