Most FM transmitters work by connecting into your headphones socket and then displaying the FM frequency on its own screen. They are often bulky and require charging from an external power source.

This new style transmitter, developed especially for iPods gets around those problems by displaying the broadcast frequency on your iPod screen! It will plug directly into the bottom of your iPod and you can use the little buttons to alter the radio frequency. You don't need to install any software, find any special menus or anything. As soon as you plug in the unit and press the button, the frequency will appear and then disappear after a few seconds.

The unit is capable of transmitting at any frequency and produces a great, clear sound through your radio speakers. It doesn't require charging, it just uses the battery from your iPod.

Best of all, this looks the business! It's just as smart as your iPod and won't take up any space at all in your bag. Fantastic for those road trips along long, European motorways...
