This auction is for a brand new Sony MC-60 MICROCASSETTE™.
Since its introduction back in 1969, the MICROCASSETTE™ format magnetic tape remains an ever popular form of media storage, being ideal for recording business meetings, conferences, interviews, lectures and language lessons etc. Also for applications such as telephone answering machines, dictation and voice notes on hand held recorders or transcribing units which utilise the MICROCASSETTE™ system. High quality recordings can be archived on a cassette ¼ the size of a standard compact cassette.
Manufactured to an exceptionally high standard by the brand leading Sony Corporation, the MC-60 MICROCASSETTE™ tape features an anti-static guide roller in order to reduce noise and flutter along with a stronger tape formulation resulting in reduced stretching, subsequently increasing durability and playback quality. It is designed to withstand repeated heavy-duty applications and has the capability to record for 60 minutes (30 minutes each side) with the machine set at 2.4cm/sec or 120 minutes (60 minutes each side) if the machine has the ability to record at 1.2 cm/sec.

Terms and conditions for online auctions:
I always aim to ship items the day after the auction ends. However for buyers using the "Buy it now" option this is often not possible, as I am sometimes unable to check my ebay listings or email on a daily basis. Should a "Buy it now" item be urgent, then please let this be known by way of the comments box which can be found prior to making payment by way of Paypal. I do not charge for packing and handling except in the case of very large or crated items and will always attempt to combine postage charges for multiple items wherever possible. All postal rates quoted are as per the Royal Mail’s present tariff (full details of which can be found at http://www.royalmail.com). Items will be packaged according to the guidelines and recommendations suggested by Royal Mail. When weights and dimensions (other than technical specifications) are quoted in item descriptions, these are approximate and may not represent the actual size and weight of the item when finally packaged. I will describe all items truthfully and without any embellishment and any photographs posted will be of the actual item you are bidding on. I always endeavour to obtain a certificate of posting, hence I cannot be held responsible for items damaged or going missing in the post when such a certificate has been issued. In certain cases Royal Mail will pay compensation for lost, damaged or stolen items. Their code of practice is stated in a booklet called "keeping our promise" which is available from all Post Office branches. For rare or valuable items additional postal insurance is advisable and can be arranged. Please ask. For larger items offered on an "ex works " basis, this means loaded onto the buyers or third party carriers vehicle (by forklift or other means) from my warehouse in West Yorkshire. If using a haulage contractor please check out the anticipated carriage costs before bidding as I cannot be held responsible for excessive freight costs or other unforeseen expenses. Any dispute concerning non arrival of an item to be settled in accordance with ebay’s "item not received or significantly not as described policy " which can be entered into between 10 and 60 days after the date that the listed item closes. By following this procedure the buyer may be entitled to compensation under ebay’s "standard purchase protection programme". Buyers using Paypal may be entitled to compensation under Paypal’s "buyer protection scheme". In the event that ebay or any of it’s agents demonstrate negligence on my behalf, I reserve the right to make compensation to the buyer by way of either a full or partial refund or if at all possible by sending a duplicate or replacement item. At the request of buyers in the U.K., I will be willing to send items using the Royal Mail’s "Recorded signed for " service at current cost on top of the quoted first or second class postage. This requires a signature by the recipient (not necessarily the addressee) and delivery can be verified using the Royal Mail’s computerised Track and Trace system. Overseas buyers have the option of Royal Mail’s "International signed for " service at current cost on top of the quoted airmail postage. This service covers the majority of global destinations. Should there be any other buyer specific requirements regarding the item or its mode of delivery, please use ebay’s "contact seller " facility ideally no less than 24 hours before the end of the auction in order that I may have time to collate the information requested. Thank you for taking the time to read this section. Happy bidding !
