Here at the Orange store on ebay we sell new and reconditioned mobile phones.

our new phones come in the original packaging and often with extra accessories you wont get with our reconditioned handsets, such as USB cables and handsfree kits. It also gives you more information about joining Orange. When you buy a one of our new handsets you will have all of the same returns and replacement rights, and you may even be covered by the manufacturers warranty.


You may find the new handsets have broken seals, there is no need to be concerned about this as they will have been broken for quality control. Please do not return them to us with this reason.


What does reconditioned mean?


Reconditioned means the phones have come back to Orange through the money-back guarantee and insurance programmes when they have been sold as new. When we get the phones we repair any faults, replace any missing parts and re-package them, ready for sale here on ebay. Any that are heavily damaged and unrepairable are rejected and will not be sold by us.


All our phones come with a six-month warranty - this is in addition to your statutory rights.


Is it just like buying a new phone?


Almost, it should work exactly the same, but unfortunately the new stock sent back to us to recondition is often not sent with all the extras you'd get when you buy as new, which means you won’t get the accessories you would if it was new, so for example; no hands free kit, USB cable, memory card or software CD. You can buy these items and more at www.orangeaccessories.co.uk/mobiles.html where there are often great discounts and offers.


Can I use the phone with my SIM card?


All our phones are locked to the Orange network and are on pay as you go. If you are already on Orange you can swap the SIMs, although the new SIM may have more features than your current SIM card. You won't be able to use your phone on another network. 


How do I start using my Orange SIM card?


You will need to register at www.orange.co.uk/getmestarted and connect the phone with the SIM card or it will not work. When its registered you will get all the benefits all other Orange pay as you go customers get.

We can only sell and deliver phones to people in the United Kingdom, so please don't bid for the phone if you don't live in the UK. 


how to submit your payment?


We only accept Paypal, so please don't write in asking if you can pay by cash, cheque or money order - we won't be able to help.

If we haven't received payment within 5 working days of the auction ending, we'll assume you don't want your phone and cancel your order for you. We may also leave negative feedback on your account.

We can only ship to addresses in the UK. Unfortunately we cannot combine p&p costs if you buy more than one phone. You'll be able to see the total cost of your order in your auction-won email. The shipping and handling cost is detailed at the bottom of our listings and can be found on our delivery page.


After we've received cleared payment for the auction, we'll process your order and send your phone out, you could receive it within 2 working days. To make things simpler, we have put a table together to show when you will receive your phone, which depends on when we receive your cleared Paypal payment.

Here at the Orange store we don't count the weekends, or public holidays, as working days. So this means that if the day you pay is a public holiday it will take a day longer to process your order.

All our phones come with a seven-day no quibble money back guarantee. This means that if within 7 days of receiving your phone you decide you don’t like it; the buttons are too small; you don’t like the colour; any reason really, then you can return it for a refund.


If you want to return a phone under our 7 day policy, you can contact us at ebay.shop@orange-ftgroup.com, (please include the ebay auction number of the phone). We'll explain the returns process and send you a returns bag. 


Please don't take your phone in to one of our high street shops or call our general Customer Services numbers if you havent already notified us of your issue - they won't be able to help you. 


how to send back your phone
You must first notify us so we can send you a prepaid postage bag. Once you have the returns bag we can only take back phones that have their original packaging and contents: user guide, charger and so on. Also any comments about why you are returning the handset is incredibly useful so we can improve our systems.


Oh, the phone also has to be in the same physical condition as it was when you got it. So please treat it carefully. 


how you will be refunded


Once we get your phone back, we'll refund the cost of your order excluding postage. We'll send the money to the Paypal account used in the auction. If we have any questions for you, we'll get in touch. 
faults
Our phones come with a six-month warranty against electrical and manufacturing faults. If something does goes wrong with your phone during this time, you can contact us at ebay.shop@orange-ftgroup.com, (please include the ebay auction number of the phone), and we'll try to replace it for you. 


If we're not able to give you the same model of phone again, we'll offer you an alternative. 


Please note that we won't be able to refund any talk time you've added to your SIM card; all you need to do is hold on to your SIM card and put it into your replacement phone.

At the orange shop our products should not be bought for resale. 
how many you can buy
We reserve the right to restrict purchases through the orange store on ebay to a maximum of 5 individual items per person, or address within any one month period. 
We regularly check through our Paypal records and if it appears someone has bought more than 5 phones within a month, then additional phone orders will be cancelled and any additional payment we received will of course be refunded via Paypal.
