What exactly is this IONIZER??

Ionizers charge particles (dust particles) to be negatively charged and stick to positively charged surfaces.  Most surfaces in the household are positively charged.  When a dust particle gets zapped and charged to become a negatively charged particle....it tends to stick to the walls and floor where it can be swept away.  You will notice a better sleep and a better overall feeling after breathing fresh negatively charged air.  This same effect happens after a thunderstorm or at the beach.  The lapping of waves on the air charges them with negatively charged IONS.  This is why a walk along the beach feels so nice.  It may also be the great looking people out sunbathing that makes you feel good, but it is also the negatively charged air you breathe along the shore.  This IONIZER, charges the air to more negatively BIASED and gives you a great overall feeling.  The only personal affirmation I can give you is that when I sleep with this unit on....I snore a whole lot less.  I also wake up feeling a lot more rested.  (ya...OK...I snore when I sleep, but a whole lot less with this thing on).  You can search the web for "negative ion" and "ozone" to read a little bit more about negatively charged ion phenomenon.

The unit also comes with a hand held ION tester.  You can see the NEON bulb flash from about 4 inches away from the unit.  This shows the WAVE of negative IONS this thing is putting out.

This particular unit is made for 220 volts AC / 50 Hz.  It will work on 110 Volts AC / 60 Hz but will only put out 4000 volts (10 BES) instead of 8000 volts.  I am working on a 110 Volts AC unit and it should be available soon.  This is a DIY project that needs to be assembled.  You will need a power cord to connect to it (2 solder connections) and some sort of housing.  If you have any questions at all, please call me toll free at 877-480-5634 or email me at:
