The Ibanez SR300 bass guitar has versatility and affordability as two of its main features. The Ibanez core Soundgear philosophy has not changed since its debut in 1987 : a modern bass for players who want a thin, fast neck, and the ability to dial in any tone for any genre-from complex electric jazz to raging metal.

The 2008 Soundgear has continued this tradition while adding a modern flavour and contemorary styling. The SR300-IPT has an Agathis wood body, a slim and fast SR Maple neck, a Rosewood fingerboard and 24 medium frets. The B100 adjustable bridge keeps the tuning stable whilst the SR 300 also features Ibanez EXF pickups and onboard 3-band active EQ with a useful Style Sweeper control.

The Style Sweeper not only provides a variety in tone, but also practically controls the mid range for finger or slap, according to your playing style. The SR300 delivers all the quality you expect from Ibanez at a very affordable price.
