Brand New 10/10	Never hit - may still be shrinkwrapped	Perfect.	Perfect.
New 9/10	Never hit. May only show signs of shop wear, eg; faint carpet scratches on head.	May show faint scuff marks from bag wear.	Cosmetic scuff marks, otherwise still perfect.
Excellent 8/10	Showing only very light head marking. Demo/display club or only used for a couple of rounds.	May show some nicks from bag wear.	Obvious signs of use but still tacky and effective.
Good 7/10	Normal use. Woods will have no chips or sky marks and the face will be in good condition. Irons may show slight wear and marking from sand or dirt but no dents.	Worn areas on shaft. Manufacturer's shaft labelling may be starting to fade or fray.	Grips may have started to lose tacky feel.
Fair 6/10	In good order but showing cosmetic wear. There may be facial ball striking wear and light sky marks on woods. Irons may show moderate face wear and have minor stone chips.
