This is a NEW OLD STOCK item.

I came across the factory that manufactured these for Apple.  So you can imagine how pleased I was to find boxes of these in great condition.  

The plastic caps are a little discolored by age.  Other than that...these are like BRAND NEW.

I am on my second original APPLE power supply.  I think the DAMAGE was like $99 + tax for my second ORIGINAL POWER SUPPLY.  I can't remember for sure....but I remember it was expensive.  I was never pleased with the original power supplies.....especially in Asia where the wall current is 220 Volts AC.  The original WHITE CUBES always POP and SPARK when you plug them in and they also get SUPER hot.  They only last a couple of years at 220 Volts AC.  

I have since made THREE SUPER CLEAN...SUPER NICE...MAC POWERBOOK POWER SUPPLIES.  I use my power book at home, my office, and a friend's house. No more lugging the power supply around.  I just have power supplies hooked up and ready to go when I go home, my office and my friend's house.

No need to throw away your old POWERBOOK just because the power supply is old.

The Mac Powerbook G4 17 inch (the one I have) operates on 24 Volts DC.  So all you need to do is check the VOLTAGE of your old APPLE G4 POWERBOOK.  Next find a power supply that maches that voltage and power requirement.  If you are not sure.....just use a volt meter and check the output of your old power supply.  

So for me...with my 17" G4 POWERBOOK....it was 24 VOLTS DC for my 17 inch G4 POWERBOOK.

I found a really neat little UNIVERSAL POWER SUPPLY from Korea that output a SUPER CLEAN 24 VOLTS DC.  Next...I just connected the black lead on the cable to the negative output of the power supply (-) and the white lead to the positive (+).  That was all it took.  Next I added the AC cable.  That was it.  

This cable also has the GREEN and AMBER LED's built in.  It shows GREEN if your MAC is CHARGED and AMBER if it is CHARGING.
