Here's a camera that speaks to a geek love of both photography and model building. You build the camera yourself using the parts that come with the kit. Everything snaps together to create a real, working camera -- no nasty model glue required! The kit and instructions are easy to follow. You can draw anythings you want on the camera case and customize your own style camera. Assembly was tough enough to be a fun challenge, and the instructions clear enough not to drive me to the edge of my sanity (unlike some model kits).
This kit is perfect for kids that are old enough to know not to stick small parts up their nose, and adults of reasonable intelligence (such as myself). Great for students who want to learn the mechanism behind a simple camera, or geeks with nothing to do on a Saturday night. Strap on a forehead light, crank up the Zeppelin, roll up your sleeves, and make!
