Pack of 50 Neodymium disc magnets 6mm diameter x 3mm thickness.

The grade is N42 and they are triple plated, nickel-copper-nickel.

The North and South poles are on the opposing flat circular faces.

These magnets can support a steel weight of up to 0.4kg.

They have a Gauss rating of 4,000 on each face.

Useful little magnets ideal for holding notes on the fridge door and also

modelling, radio controlled vehicles, toys and games, scientific experiments etc.

These magnets are approximately 10 times stronger than traditional 'red' magnets.

TECHNICAL

Neodymium magnets have a maximum operating temperature of 90 degress C

above which their power deteriorates rapidly.

Although triple plated they can quickly degrade in steam atmospheres.

They can be fixed with good quality adhesives such as Araldite.

?Neodymium magnets are hard and brittle and may shatter if allowed to ‘jump’ together or onto a metal surface

?It is recommended that eye and hand protection should be worn

?Strong magnets can interfere with sensitive electronic or mechanical equipment and should be kept at least 300mm from such devices

?Never travel on an aircraft without first declaring the magnets

?Magnets can destroy information held on magnetic media such as credit cards and computer drives

?Watches, computer monitors, televisions and mobile telephones can be seriously damaged by placing magnets near them

?Users of heart pacemakers should never handle strong magnets

?Never use magnets in potentially explosive atmospheres as sparks may be caused
