Needlepoint Silk Gauze/Mesh/Scrim/Canvas 48ct 8"x10"

I imported this gauze from a manufacturer in China. The photograph is a small roll of the gauze to show you what it looks like, but the actual piece I am selling is a piece cut from my larger roll. I use a size 12 quilting between needle with this fabric for cross-stitch and tent stitch, and a size 9 quilting between for bargello (check out your local quilting store for these needles; craft stores like Michaels and JoAnns sometimes have them, also). You can use a single strand of DMC cotton floss for needlepoint, or a machine-weight sewing thread (for example, A, 00, or size 50) for cross-stitch. I prefer to use silk thread, and have used YLI, TIRE, and vintage silk threads such as Belding Corticelli to cross-stitch small carpets and pillows. Gutermann 100/3 silk thread is good for bargello, as is Splendour from Rainbow Gallery.
