Needle Thin School Cane

It looks innocuous but, you will not believe just how much this cane stings.

One of the thinnest rattans you will ever see. Measured at the tip, it is just under 5mm diameter and it is long: just over 31 inches. But it is as straight as an arrow and a real performer.

I don't know what type of cane this is, but it is a lot more pliable and whippy than ordinary school canes. And, it has a nice, small, well formed crook handle.

It is an old cane and has a deep, dark patina. I don't know how old it is, but I have had it over 35 years and it was second hand when I acquired it.

Condition is good except for a few wear & tear marks, very nicely preserved.

Sold as a collectors item.
