Unusual Pendant in Genuine Natural Whitby Jet and 925 Silver ~ Protection

I am very pleased to be able to offer for sale this lovely unusual pendant in mysterious, powerful black Jet and Silver. This is a special, beautiful piece, and it comes complete with a fine 18" 925 Silver chain.
The polished stone is mounted in a frame of polished 925 Silver, open at the back, and will be sent to its new owner cleansed and charged with Reiki healing energy. The pendant is presented boxed with a detailed leaflet on Reiki, Crystals and Healing, and its own protective silk pouch.

Jet is fossilised wood, and has also been called "Black Amber". When worked and polished, it has a smooth appearance with a slight, silky sheen. This substance has been used as a talisman since Stone Age times, and is a wonderful protection, possessing the ability to draw out negative energies. It is believed to alleviate fear, and to guard against violence, illness and to protect against dark energies, especially when making spiritual journeys. Jet is said to have the power to control all demons, and to be able to protect the user from demonic possession.

Jet is good for cleansing the Base or Root Chakra, and can stimulate the rise of the Kundalini energy. When placed in the region of the Heart Chakra, it can help raise the Kundalini energy towards the Crown.
Like many dark-coloured stones, Jet is associated with the promotion of wealth and prosperity, is grounding, and can be used to remove and protect from negative forces and energy. It should be cleansed after each use.
