Circular Native American Drum
Hand Crafted By Taos Artisans
12"Diameter x 2.5"Width
My drum is full of dreams; full of voices. These voices speak always of olden things. Yet, in the same breath they seem to speak of youth and more youth to come.

This hand drum was built with a wooden frame made from a flexed singular section.

When this frame was finished, wet rawhide was stretched over one side of the drum and laced to the handle behind. (See Picture Below)

The drum handles are wrapped in recycled leather and made so you can slide your hand underneath, it fits like a glove!

Historically, hand drums were an essential part of spiritual ceremonies for vision, power celebrations and healing.
