Antique Vintage Gold Rolex Ladies Pendant Watch with Blue enamel Bezel(slightly polished off at 11); seems to be a solid gold case - as Stamped 375; case Measures approx 25mm(without crown); movement needs repair, Back cover Hinge is in perfect condition, Back cover stamped 'Rolex', 'W&D', 520957..
Inner caseback also marked W&D for Wilsdorf and Davis - the first name used by Rolex in the early years. Hans Wilsdorf (along with his brother in law Alfred Davis) founded the Rolex company in England and registered it in 1905. Later in 1919 he moved the headquarters to Switzerland where it remains to this day where it is still run and owned by the Wilsdorf foundation. The case is small enough to attach a chain to the bail and use it as a pendant watch. It would also be great as a purse watch or a pocketwatch. Rare Rolex Aegler gilt mechanical movement. Stamped W&D/
