Der Antidote Delivery Manager ergänzt die Rescue und Recovery Software und schützt ThinkPad Notebooks und ThinkCentre Desktops gegen Virenangriffe in der kritischen Phase, in der die Rechner ans Firmennetzwerk angeschlossen werden, ohne dass zuvor alle notwendigen Sicherheitspatches installiert worden sind. Zudem ermöglicht die Lösung dem Nutzer den Zugriff auf verschiedene System-Funktionen und Dateien, selbst wenn das Betriebssystem beschädigt ist - beispielsweise durch einen Wurm oder Virus. So lassen sich zuvor gesicherte Dateien, Anwendungen oder das gesamte System schnell retten. Eine weitere ThinkVantage Technology, der ThinkPad Power Manager übernimmt die wichtige Aufgabe des Power Managements für eine möglichst flexible und mobile Arbeitsweise. Mit dieser Anwendung kann der Nutzer beispielsweise die Prozessorgeschwindigkeit und die Lüfterleistung zur Kühlung des Prozessors entsprechend seiner individuellen Bedürfnisse einstellen und erreicht so eine maximale Akkuauslastung und Produktivität. Der ThinkPad T43 ist standardmäßig mit einer Reihe von ThinkVantage Technologien ausgestattet. Diese Anwendungen zielen darauf ab, die PC-Arbeit produktiver zu machen und den Aufwand für die IT-Administration zu reduzieren. Der ThinkPad T43 ist insbesondere für vielreisende Geschäftsleute geeignet.
