These torches are designed for emergency kits, camping, sailing, climbing, fishing, home, car, technicians, pilots etc and are UK supplied. It will float too.

The LED give many lighting functions, including the following:-
- OFF for use when absolute darkness is required (obvious, but that's what it says on the box!)
- LOCATION LIGHT very low power light that glows through the translucent top to enable quick locating in darkness, and can even enable room navigation. Power consumption is so small that it will glow for up to 2 years.
- HIGH BEAM max power setting producing a powerful 30+yd focused beam and a light visible from over 2 miles. Battery life at this setting is around 40 hours.
- EMERGENCY FLASHING SIGNAL the translucent rubber lens cover of the Nite Palm4 torch enables 360 degree sharp, bright location and distress signalling. Use to attract roadside assistance and for other emergency situations. Battery life at this setting is around 200 hours.
