(The pics themselves are generally pretty self-explanatory, but a narrative always helps):

One pre-owned used pair of 100% authentic genuine real Tn’s trainers sneakers (officially called “Nike Air Max Plus).

OG original first-generation 1998 edition. (Those if you who know about Tn’s will know EXACTLY what they are looking at here, no need to explain!)

Very rare to find ANY original 1998 Tn’s these days (even in USED condition!).

The original official OG Nike box is also included as show in the pics (these red / wheat / black coloured boxes are the original “old-school” ones that ran from 1996 to mid 1999, and were afterwards replaced by the orange/wheat coloured ones that came into existence from late 1999 all the way through to about 2003).

Men’s colourway. Size US 11 – UK 10 – EUR 45.

Come with original OG Nike Air Max Plus laces (black) that came with the trainers.

Both original Nike Tn insoles are included.

Official Nike Tn colourway code is 604 133  061

Made in China in autumn of 1998.

Manufactured by Nike on 11^th September 1998 (“980911”).

Official Nike Tn colourway name is “Machine Grey/Pimiento-Black-Cone”

Item Condition:

Worn approx. about 10 - 15 times in total over the past 10 years.

Overall, in a nice, tidy, neat, pleasant condition. You would NOT no-way guess that these sneaks are now 10 years old. They have been very well-maintained and taken care of. Worn each time with the utmost care to avoid any major damage from occurring (trust me, after you’ve spent 130 bucks on a single pair of trainers, you tend to wear them with care!)

Very very small tiny tear in the upper fabric of the shoes at the front right-side of the front foot from where it once got slightly scraped against sharp screw sticking out of the wall in the bedroom. (see pics).

They have NOT yet started to “fall apart” and the rubber midsoles have kept-up very well. Nike certainly used the very best highest-quality rubber when they manufactured these midsoles because after 10 long years, the rubber midsoles have not split/come-apart ANYWHERE on the shoes. Most other trainers would’ve almost certainly split by now, but not Nike air Max Plus – and that’s why Nike charge you top dollar for them!

For this reason, I am advertising these sneakers as totally wearable still even after 10 years, though obviously you wear them entirely at your own risk. I have inspected them closely in ALOT of detail for a long time up-against strong direct natural sunlight, and could see NO splits or degeneration of the rubber soles whatsoever.

I have personally cleaned the soles of the shoes with a damp cloth ready for immediate wear for the buyer, so they are nice clean and tidy at the bottom of the soles as you can see in the pics.

All the air-bubble chamber units at the bottom are all fine, fully-pumped still. No loss of tuned-air has occurred from the cushion-bubbles.

No dis-colouration has occurred on the surface of the sneakers because they have always been safely stored-away in their original box inside all the original packaging inside at the bottom of the wardrobe in my bedroom away from any direct light or heat after each and every wear, with regular cleaning/wiping. So they really have been kept in a good a condition as they possibly could’ve.

The white rubber midsoles obviously have some minor ordinary ‘black scuff marks’ in some small places on the sides. These have been shown in the pics.

The pics say it all, please take a close look for yourselves; they look pretty fresh still. I’d personally say that their condition looks no more than about 1 or 2 years old!

Item history/other information:

Bought in an official Nike outlet store in Staten Island, New Jersey, United States of America, North America in February 1999 for USD $130.00 by my elder brother when he went there for his trip to the U.S. in Christmas 1998.

Reason for sale is that my brother sees himself as being abit too old to be wearing sneakers anymore, so they would may aswell go to a better home to add to somebody’s Nike vintage sneakers collection.

Previous owners before: none.

Tn’s are generally quite rare these days and you won’t see many people wearing them, so taking these original 1998 first-generation editions out on the street will certainly get you noticed and “set you aside from the rest of the crowd”. At a massive GBP £109.99 from Footlocker, hardly anybody can even afford to wear these top-quality high-end sneakers. Tn’s are generally quite rare because of their very high price from Footlocker, so here’s your chance to grab a rare pair of ORIGINAL 98’s for a bargain price!

This particular pair is now discontinued and was out of production YEARS ago, you won’t find another pair the same here on eBay! This pair world now be classed as “vintage” in the Nike sneakers community because their origin rests in the late 90’s.

They look great with a pair of casual/smart jeans or just with a pair of sports track jogging bottoms.
