I came across this skirt that was my mother's from the 1970's.  It has been in storage for over 30 years and really deserves to be loved by someone who appreciates authentic vintage!

It is by Junior House, no size tag, but would fit a modern size 4. It is of a nice soft velvet like corduroy.  It is a long a-line skirt.  It overlaps at the front waist securing with horn-like buttons, and buttons down the front to the mid thigh leaving the opening below like a large vent.  Measures 13 1/2 inches across at waist, 20 inches at widest hip area, and 39 inches total length.

Apart from having a bit of a musty smell, it is in impeccable condition (no stains, holes, rips, or other defects).  It could use a wash in the gentle cycle for a freshening up.

Wear this with nice sheepskin boots and a chunky sweater this fall and winter!
