100% solid EUROPEAN OAK "A" grade is used to make this hardwood worktop.

Guaranteed Low Moisture Level

The staves used to make up the hardwood worktop are 40mm thick and ranging from 40-45mm wide(some other suppliers only do 20-25mm wide staves) depending on supplier. Also called Full Stave or Butcher's Block Worktops

All our hardwood worktops are sanded to 150 grit and ready to be oiled. The blocks of random length 40mm thick solid OAK are jointed(giving an immensely strong and stable join) together length ways and edge glued together across the worktop.
