The "waltz king", Johann Strauss, the "prince of songs", Franz Schubert, Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven were all inspired by the city's flair.
 From Vienna, the waltz began to spread all over the world, not least thanks to the Vienna Philharmonic, whose New Year Concert in the Golden Music Society Concert Hall is broadcast worldwide and delights a billion people every year.
There is virtually no other place in the world where the image of a "city strung with a thousand violins" is more fitting.
 In homage to this musical city and its flair, Margarete Steiff GmbH has unveiled exclusively for Austria the "Vienna Ballerina Teddy bear"
 Limited Edition of 1,500.
The Vienna Ballerina, a stylish tiptoe dancer, is 32 cm tall and is made by hand from the finest apricot-coloured mohair.
 Laced ballet shoes grace her dainty feet.
Her silken dress puffs up as she dances, past the most beautiful squares in the city, to the sound of the "Vienna Blood" waltz, integrated as a music box:
The ballerina is presented on a mahogany-coloured wooden stand with an engraved brass plaque, and comes with a white and consecutively-numbered ear tag and a gold-plated "Button in ear" with an elephant motif.

This item is brand new, still in Steiff box.
