Fabulous Georgian style Old Sheffield reproduction silver plated tray with three bun feet.  This is a reproduction of a famous maker’s design.

 

The rim is scalloped, with heavy gadrooning highlighted by shells.  The center is hand chased with a floral, leaf and crosshatching motif.  Please see photos.

 

To the underside is a lion rampant in a circle, “REPRODUCTION OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE MADE IN ENGLAND” and the number “13”.  It is a heavy (2 ½ lb.) tray, 14” in diameter and ¾” deep.  It is in excellent condition, with a few tiny scratch marks to the center and light scratching to the underside.

 

Great for your holiday entertaining and in condition for gift giving.
