NEW NATIONAL HIVE BEEKEEPING

Having combined my now two year hobby/beekeeping and 25+ years as a joiner I have decided to produce this western red Cedar National Hive with a strong substantial stand with landing board produced to a high standard

Cedar is the best timber for the job it will stand very happily in all weathers requiring no treatment for many many years and then only perhaps Linseed oil will do the job that has got to be good for the bees they will work hard for you so treat them to the best you can afford

The hive consists of-

Solid Cedar stand

Varroa floor with stainless steel mesh entrance block and removable tray for monitoring the varroa drop

Standard brood box (if you prefer the 14x12 brood box I can change this for an extra £10)

Dummy board

Two supers 

Crown board with feed hole

And finally a gabled roof covered with aluminium

I hope that you can see that I have intended to produce a quality product and have not cut any corners I will be happy to answer any questions you may have and will be glad to give a full refund in the event you are not happy with the hive the bees will give you many hours of satisfaction amassment and wonderment

Unfortunately due to the size of the hive it requires sending in two boxes and so hence the extra P&P 

In the eco friendly times that we fined ourselves you may be interested to know that the electric used in my workshop is supplied by Green Energy UK and is 100% renuable energy supplier 90% of the wood shavings produced are donated to a local charitable farm for disabled children to be used with the animal bedding ect all the offcuts of timber to small to be reused are bagged and burnt in my woodburning stove unfortunately I wish i could say the Cedar is sourced from the UK but is from Canada and is PEFC certified a body promoting managed woodland
