Introduction

Marumi is a leading Japanese optical company with fifty years experience in the design and production of high quality optical filters. The latest DHG (Digital High Grade) filters have been designed to give the optimum performance with digital SLR cameras. Marumi filters are specifically designed not to impair picture quality when used with cameras with CCD's and CMOS Sensors. Each Filter has a special ultra - low coating and a black outer filter edge which significantly reduces flare, ghost imaging and over exposure.

A circular polarizing filter can reduce or eliminate surface reflections on shiny metal surfaces, glass, water or the sky, achieving a truer more accurate colour rendition with a higher colour contrast. A narrow outer rim avoids the vignetting phenomenon on super wide-angle lenses.
