The Old style throttle was just a rev and go, our new adjustable throttle allows the bike to be amended for the rider, if there is a younger child who has never had a bike before you can use the restricted setting to keep the speed limited.

We do not supply bikes with a twin pea shooter as an exhasut (see image below), our 2010 model comes with a sport exhaust and race silencer for better performance and style.

    
 
The new cut off system kills the engine if the child happens to fall from the bike, this is the newest saftey issue for the mini dirt bike.

Arrows have been the innovator when it comes to mini dirt bikes and our 2010 model has been redeveloped to give the rider better performance, style and safety.

The all new features include:
a) Pro Kill Switch Cord
One of the main additional safety features added to the X10 49cc Mini Dirt Bike is the professional style emergency stop pull cord.  The rider attaches the clip to gloves, wrist band or clothing and if the rider falls off the bike it will automatically stop the engine. This is the only mini dirt bike on the market that has this feature built in!

b) Flexi Plastics
Some of the older models and other sellers of mini dirt bikes and minimotos use cheap brittle plastics that have no flexibility and with the slightest knock can crack and split the plastics often leaving sharp dangerous edges.  The X10 model uses a full set of plastics in the style of full sized dirt/pit bikes.  The flexi plastic compound gives added strength and style to the bike.

c) Race style exhaust and silencer
Not only does the all the new racing style exhaust and silencer give the X10 mini dirt bike added style, it also improves the performance of the bike.  The old style twin pea shooter exhausts not only look and sound poor they lose performance and in our experience have a higher failure rate.

d) High quality wavy disc brakes and full hydraulic braking system.

One of the major downfalls on other mini dirt bike importers are that the braking system is often of a poor standard and cable drum brakes are fitted.  The X10 mini dirt bike has both front and rear full hydraulic braking system with wavy air cooled brake discs. This gives the X10 amazing stopping power.

e) Exhaust heat deflector
Exhausts get very hot indeed and this was always a main concern of the Arrows X10 designers, so on our new 2010 X10 model we have added heat deflectors to the exhaust system. (don’t worry they are not blue, as shown in the picture, the blue in the picture is only a protective shipping film so the chrome finish does not get damaged in transit.) The heat deflectors help protect the rider’s legs when riding and if the rider should fall off; there is less of a chance of burns from the exhaust.

f) CNC machined colour coded wheels
For added style and strength we have redesigned the wheels of the X10 mini dirt bikes and moved away from spoke and moulded wheels and upgraded to high quality alloy CNC machined wheels that are colour coded to match the colour of the bikes plastics.

- The instruction manual should be read and understood before riding.

- The X10 Arrows mini dirt bike is only suitable for children up to the weight of 60kg.
- The rider should be able to ride a push bike un assisted before riding any engine powered bike.
