The latest split sole soft shoe features an elasticated arch, suede sole-plate at the toes, padded insole and NO PLEATS!

This pump has an elasticated neophrene arch, in the moulded shape of a star, which hugs the arch of the foot and moves with the dance. This elasticated section "breathes with the movements" and stretches and contracts to allow the arch to move without damaging the pump and gives the most streamlined shape when the toe is poined. Celtic Creations have also changed the way these type of pumps are laced up - the heel is supported by the looped sides which prevents the pump slipping off the heel when dancing.

VERY POPULAR STYLE FOR EXPERIENCED DANCERS!!

Not recommended for beginners.

Sizing for these shoes is a very personal thing; my daughter wears half a size SMALLER in these than in her regular shoes but at least one customer has found they needed one size LARGER than normal shoes. Personally I would need the same size as my usual shoes (having tried some out!). It really depends on the foot width as length-wise they are relatively accurate when you allow for the stretch in the elastic. I am always happy to offer advice!

**Please note that the "support" is to accentuate the arch it is NOT a form of orthotic and will not compensate for weak or fallen arches (try the Brigadun or Brigadun Flexi pumps I also sell if this is what you need!)
