 This necklace is hand made of fine pewter and various resin glazes.  It features a Hopi symbolic representation of the sun on a black leather cord which can be tied to the length desired.  Two simple beads accent the top.  This is great wearable art, perfect for yourself or as a gift for someone who loves Native American symbolism.  (Please note that this jewelry is made in a Native American style, but not created by Native Americans.  Read below for more about the artists.)

This jewelry was created at the Artisans Campensinas of Tecalpulco, Mexico.  The group promotes handicrafts from the native people of the region.  These cottage crafts are often the only sustainable income for entire families.  Your purchase enables them to survive.  These pieces are provided through Fair Trade Federation groups which ensures that the artists are fairly compensated for their work.

These pieces are hand made and will show the marks of their creator.  Pictures are representative of the basic theme; each one is unique!  Measurements are approximate.
