FireWire is a cross-platform implementation of the high-speed serial data bus. Defined by the IEEE 1394-1995, IEEE 1394a-2000, and IEEE 1394b standards, that can move large amounts of data between computers and peripheral devices. It features simplified cabling, hot swapping, and transfer speeds of up to 800 megabits per second (on machines that support 1394b).

This Auction is for a Brand New 6FT / 1.8 Metre Firewire DV cable for Sony Camcorders.

This cable will connect your camcorder to your computer, some models will connect via USB but will only transfer pictures and audio using USB.

To transfer video you need to connect your camcorder via a firewire connection.

You will need a Firewire port to use this cable, this is also known as a DV port, IEEE 1394. This is NOT a USB cable.

Payment is due within 4 days of the end of auction or when the item is bought using "buy it now". We accept the following payment methods:

We provide proof of delivery as soon as the package is sent out, but we have to wait a minimum of 15 business days before a replacement can be sent out or a refund can be issued, this is not our policy but that of the Post Office and Royal Mail as they will not issue any compensation until a package is missing for 15 working days.
