NEW Pre-Packed Hospital / Labour Bag Set for Mum & Baby

Fantastic three-piece bag set from La Redoute in pale pink with chocolate brown suede details.

PLEASE NOTE: These bags are brand new in packaging but they come from the manufacturer packaged flat and folded meaning that when you first use them there may be a crease line down the front of the large bag and the handles may need to be straightened out. Neither of these issues affect the use of the bags in any way - I am just an incredibly honest ebayer who likes people to know exactly what they are getting!

The set comprises of 

• Large Travel Bag measuring 44cm x 33cm x 18.5cm which has two handy inside slip in pockets plus an inner zip pocket (ideal to store some change for the car park, phone or coffee machine!). This has a secure full zip fastening and suede carry handles that can fit over your shoulder.
• Medium Bag measuring 35cm x 19cm x 9.5cm which would be ideal for storing baby's bits and pieces in ready to access easily in hospital or as a toiletry bag for mum. This has a central tie fastening and two carry handles.
• Small Purse Bag measuring 16cm x 9cm x 5cm which would make an excellent make-up bag or a good little storage pouch for keeping mum's small personal items (such as your mobile phone and lippy) seperate from baby's. This had a zip fastening.

As always, the larger bag has been packed with essential items to help get you through labour and birth but I have left the two smaller bags empty ready for you to use how you wish! And there's plenty of room for some of the other things that you'll want to take with you.

This would make a fantastic baby shower gift or a practical way to help a pregnant friend, partner, wife or girlfriend get ready for the big day.

I have included unisex baby items in this bag for those of you waiting for the suprise but I can easily change them for boy or girl baby items if preferred - just email me to check stock.

For Mum

• 2 Lovely Fenjal Creme Body Wash Sachets (for the post-birth shower)
• Shampoo & Conditioner Sachet (see above - brands vary)
• Soft Flannel (to use with the above but also brilliant to use during labour wet on mums forehead to cool her down as giving birth can be a very hot and sweaty business!)
• 10 Always or Bodyform Ultra Nightime Towels with Wings (extra long, super absorbent and just as good as "maternity" towels)
• 6 Breast Pads (individually wrapped, slim and comfortable protection that you will need even if you are not intending to breastfeed)
• Toothbrush & Toothpaste Set (brushing your teeth can help ease nausea during labour)
• Nivea Anti-perspirant Deoderant (keep you smelling fresh for your visitors!)
• Kleenex Pocket Tissues (for the tears of joy!)
• Lip Balm (puffing and panting can make your lips very dry especially if you are using gas and air)
• Impulse Deo Wipe (excellent for quick freshening up)
• Hair Elastics (to keep your hair off your sweaty face)
• 2 Straws (yes, you may think why on earth are these included! But they are very useful for enabling a labouring mum to get a sip from drink in any position without having to move - ever tried drinking from a bottle of water on all fours without moving too much?)
• Notepad & Pen (an essential item for all those to-do lists before the big day and also very handy for the "please bring back to the hospital" lists for your partner)
• Unisex Birth Announcements with Envelopes and matching Thank You Sheets
• Very useful NCT Leaflets: "Positions to make your labour easier and shorter" which has "Positions to make the birth of your baby easier" on the back showing how you can really help yourself during labour with tips from mums on what helped them. Plus "Straightforward Birth" handout which again has important information on what to expect and how to prepare for the birth. Please note, if this is a gift and you don't want to include the above handouts to avoid embarassment, then please let me know and I will leave them out.
• I'm also including NCT "Bathtime Tips for New Parents" leaflet (I was terrified about bathing my new, fragile bundle for the first time! I know I am not the only one so these handouts will help boost confidence for both mum & dad-to-be but will also be a great refresher for any new grandparents that are lending a helping hand!) and NCT "How can I tell if my baby is thriving" handout which has useful info to help you make sure baby is doing ok.
• Handy Tickable Checklist (of some of the other items to remember to take to hospital)
• Handy Tickable Birth Partner Checklist (things to do before D-Day and things to take in the role as birth partner)
• Phone Number Reminder Card (you won't be able to rely on your mobile phone's memory whilst in the hospital so it's useful to have the numbers ready of the people you will want to tell your happy news to first!)

This item can be sent via courier so it will not get caught up in any Royal Mail postal disputes or delays. If selecting courier delivery then remember - anything else you buy in the same transaction will qualify for free delivery!

Non-UK Mainland Delivery:

• Highlands & Islands delivery: Please note that there is an additional charge for courier services to the Highlands and Islands of £6.99 (so in total, shipping is £16.99). Royal Mail Standard Parcels will be a cheaper option.
• Northern Ireland delivery: Please note that there is an additional charge for courier services to Northern Ireland of £8.99 (so in total, shipping is £18.99). Royal Mail Standard Parcels would be a cheaper option.
• Republic of Ireland delivery: Again, there is an additional charge for services to the Republic of Ireland of £10 (so in total, shipping is £20)
