This auction is for, Dr Hal's Biology Trumps, part of the new range of Dr Hal’s Trumps. These are education trumps games and the new range is was launched in March with four titles; a completely new rebranded version of Dr Hal’s Chemistry Trumps, Dr Hal’s Biology Trumps, Dr Hal’s Physics Trumps and this title, Dr Hal's Recycling Trumps. Dr Hal's Biology Trumps is a trump-style game based on organisms from the largest to unicellular organisms from across both plant an animal kingdoms, and also some cells and as the subject of the game. The game is designed to facilitate biological discourse between players.

Each card comes with the picture of that particular organism/cell, the five trump factors and some Bio-Facts, small packets of takeaway knowledge about that particular organism.

As you might expect Dr Hal’s Biology Trumps is printed on 50% recycled card and our printer, Richard Edward Ltd is certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council and has been awarded the Green Mark Logo. The research for the cards was carried out by Dr Ann Terry Research Biologist at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, so you can be sure of the intellectually credibility of the game.

The game has been tested by focus groups of teachers and pupils and is suitable for Key Stage 3/4 (age 11-16).There are free downloadable notes to accompany the game so that players, parents and teachers can find out more about each card topic, any assumptions made and where to find out more.
