How many times on holiday I have wished I had a pair of small binoculars at some point or other, but been really disappointed at the ones of offer in the local shops, the binoculars for around £30 were always so poor quality they were not worth buying

These quality 10 times magnification binoculars are very compact the size is just 4" width when opened out 2.5" width when folded and 4.75" in length, yet they pack some awesome power

The larger the 1st number, the closer the subject will come, however as you increase power, you will also get less clarity, less width of view and more shake

As a rule, the higher the power, the shorter the time you can comfortably view through the optic 10x- 25x is best for general use

This is as powerful as you need - hand held above 12-25x most people would need a tripod!

The larger the 2nd number, the brighter the image will be, and the more detail and clarity you will see; however as you increase size, the binocular will become bigger and heavier, and so less portable
