Now as for instructions on how to find your Cmos Bios Backup battery, here are some pictures of what you'll need to do. This should either help your confidence or clue you that a tech might be the best route to get your notebook up and running.Making sure that your notebook is fully turned off and that you have remove the main Lithium Ion battery as a charged battey as a source of power.  Remove the ac/dc adapter charger and the main battery before any motherboard internal repair. Make sure that your not providing any ESD (electrostatic discharge)  static charge. Introduction of ESD charges can damage most electronic devices. Hence in working on electronics, make sure that you discharge any possible ESD charges by touching a large metal surface.

 First step: Locate the Dimm door/Memory slot, open it up with a screwdriver, which allows access and viewing  the cmos battery tucked inside.

 You will need to gently remove the batteries connector along with the wires   attached, minimal pulling if necessary. If too difficult to pull out, then Stop, otherwise   you might damage the mating connector soldered on the Notebook.  Replace the  dead battery with our battery, seal up the dimm door and power up the  unit. The  Notebook will prompt you for your next set of sequences, gaining access  to your  bios environment and functionality anew.
