I have had some feedback which says that this dialer works on Skype allowing access to call centres and answer machines where the Skype software has failed to send the correct DTMF tones.
This model features an on/off switch which gives an extended battery life.
I understand these dialers are no longer manufactured and are difficult to obtain. I obtained a quantity of these excellent quality BT Dialers a while ago for a project... circumstances now mean that I am offering them on ebay, if you requre more dialers than are available here please contact me.

Please beware of inferior dialers that appear on eBay from time to time, I have tested some of these and they often do not have enough volume to work or the speaker is of such poor quality that the tones are distorted and unreliable. The speaker used in this dialer is a quality moving coil type, not one of the cheaper piezo types found in inferior dialers.
The dialer is similar to those sold by Tandy and Radio Shack in the USA.

[As with all these types of acoustic devices perfect operation is dependant of the sensitivity of the microphone of the handset being used and the correct positioning of the unit over the telephone mouthpiece. That said I have tested it on a number of phones/systems and it works just fine.]
I have been asked for details of the chip used in the dialer, I do have a copy of the UM95088 chip pin-outs and keypad connections available, buyers can request this after purchase. Note: Anyone opening their dialer does so at their own risk, if it goes wrong, please dont ask for a refund, Thanks.
