About this charity: BFW is a Charity that service, repair and refurbishes used mobility equipment.
Young disadvantaged people with disabilities assist in the repair, servicing and refurbishing of this equipment, supervised by trained technicians; this training will help them to up-skill and help remove barriers to employment.
Our workshop takes some of the most disadvantaged disabled people and others who are greatly disadvantaged in many other ways - many have been excluded socially, and have very low self esteem.

Young people with disabilities train at our workshop along side qualified technicians; repairing, refurbishing and servicing mobility equipment. Trainees gain a host of life skillsincluding, self worth and the feel good factor helping them build a Brighter Future.
We refurbish all our mobility equipment using highly qualified technicians and the latest diagnostic tools and methods to bring the mobility equipment back to a level that is safe and serviceable.
All money received from the sale of equipment will be put back into the running costs of this worthwhile charity.
The Brighter Future Workshop is based In 20 Greenhey PlaceSkelmersdaleWN8 9SA, we have a large selection of refurbished mobility equipment on view e.g scooters, wheelchairs, power chairs and rise and recline chairs.
