The Air flow meter (basically) Measures the amount of air going into the inlet manifold, and then sends signals to the other components on the vehicle to ensure the engine runs correctly.
Common symptoms of a faulty Air flow meter (AFM) are:
Poor idling
Cutting out when the engine speed drops (approching bends, roundabouts etc)
Loss of Power
Excessive Black Smoke
A diagnostic machine will sometimes point out the AFM is faulty, however, not always.
Virtually every manufacturer and vehicle will have a different AFM part number.
PLEASE TRUST ME, THE BEST WAY TO BUY AN AFM IS TO GET THE NUMBER FROM YOUR EXISTING UNIT.
YOU CAN GET THE MANUFACTURES PART NUMBER FROM YOUR DEALER, IF YOU CANT GET TO YOUR AFM.
IT WILL USUALLY be something like 0280 217 121 or 5WK9600 etc, the number is inscribed on to the black plastic part of the housing.
The part number is NOT PBT-30-
Please check the opposite side of the housing if you find this number.
A small mirror might be helpful.

They state 1-2 days for 1st class mail, the royal mail state:
We aim to deliver most First Class mail by the next working day, including Saturdays.
They also state here: http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump3?catId=400144&mediaId=15500181
That you must:

We more often than not, read our emails everyday, throughout the day.
We will also usually reply to any questions directly to your email address, rather than through the ebay messaging system.
(It is far easier to keep the thread of a conversation) If you do not receive a reply to your question within 24 hours or so, it will usually be because of the of these reasons:
We hav'nt received it
We have replied, but you havnt checked your email program (outlook express, hotmail etc)
We have replied, but your email program has put our reply into your 'spam' folder
You have asked a question which is already answered in the listing or our 'Frequently asked questions'
You have been rude, threatening or insulting.
(We are humans, and a 'Hi' and 'Thanks', 'regards' etc go along away.)
