NATIVE AMERICAN - TURQUOISE BEADS AND SILVER - DANGLE CROSSING PATHS STYLE EARRINGS
Here's a very pretty pair of vintage, Native American silver with turquoise bead "crossing paths" earrings that we recently bought at an estate auction.
These are part of a lot of Navajo crafted jewelry that dated from the 30's to the 50's. We'll be listing the pieces we got over the next week or two.
These very pretty earrings have 4 turquoise beads on each, one centered on the crossed part of the earring and 3 that dangle from the bottom of each cross. They measure 2+1/2" long from the top of the earwire and are 1 and 1/2" in width at the widest part of the cross.
They are neither stamped as to silver content nor signed by their maker, not unusual for their age. They have a heavy patina which suggests they are sterling silver. The repousse work and hand stamped designs are beautiful and unique.
This wonderful example of genuine, handmade, Native American Indian jewelry will certainly make a terrific addition to your jewelry collection.
