Selected from our vast range of motors, over 20,000 from stock - This tiny DC motor, only 7mm diameter ! has a small offset (easily removable) weight on the drive shaft & is designed for use with mobile phones & pocket pagers where "silent calling" is required. When powered from 1V dc @ 55mA and mounted in soft rubber, sufficient vibration is created to alert the user without disturbing others. If the weight is removed the motor could be run intermittently up to 3V with current consumption exceeding 120mA. Running at these voltages makes the motor turn incredibly fast ! So fast that we are unable to measure the speed ! The motor body is plated steel & only 16.5mm long x 7mm dia. The drive shaft without the weight is 3mm long x 1mm dia.
